So i'm getting ready to put the engine back on my Ten but before i can, i need to get the throw-out bearing fixed. before i removed the engine the clutch was hard to disengage, later i found out that as i disengaged the clutch the gear brake would engage too early making it hard to disengage the clutch enough to shift gears. So i was thinking i should replace the bearing and move it back farther on the transmission shaft so the clutch can fully disengage before the gears brake. does anyone have specs on where the bearing should set on the shaft, or what bearing should be there (i was told that it has the wrong bearing)...?

adjust the gear brake by taking out the 2 bolts and find an other hole that it is better and brake comes in later

The Bearing you are looking for is a thrust bearing only will work one way so make sure you keep that in mind when you install. The bearing is a BCA 7208 and can be bought most of the times on ebay

Ok, the bearing I have is a "BCA 7208 2 A". is this correct? what does the "2 A" mean?

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
