Happy New years everyone. Was wondering if anyone out here has any literature or blueprints for a cab. I'm starting a project this winter on a snow special sixty. Any info would be helpful . Also needing 2 rear fuel tank brackets thanks Kenny

Is it snowing in Petaluma, CA today? Tell us about your poaching expedition. I am envious of you as always. JM

I like your trailer. What brand/model is it, and what's its tare weight?

Slippery roads, could cause loss of traction and the whole thing could just find its way elsewhere - sorry, no room for it here (can't blame an old man with lots of memories can you? Nice catches, enjoy, safe travels! Looking forward to seeing the restoration and completion. Of all the machines I have had the opportunity to be sitting in the seat, I think the Sixty brings that thrill back every time I am around one. Thanks for sharing the pictures and keeping our machines alive. - cts

Looking good Wimmera Farmer! What do you do if you have to adjust the clutch, cab looks very close to the flywheel. - cts

Hi, cts.

I have heard rumors that Cat dealers used to keep trained Ourang Outans back in the day just for jobs like this. Sadly, times seem to have changed and I have never seen any of these critters at a Cat dealer.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Myron Porter in Nebraska built the cab for me, I am guessing about ten years ago, don't know if he is still alive. My biggest problem now is to find a smart sheet metal worker to roll a bonnet, I gather it will take someone who is exceptionally good at it, to be able to get the front and rear shapes correct and a piano style hinge down the middle, all in the same two sheets.

Clutch adjustment is not that difficult, just need some patience.

Regards, Wombat
