when trawling through the Internet I see various Caterpillar magazines

The older appears to be the Caterpillar magazine that seem to start pre WW11 an number up to approx 80 ,although I have only seem from 36 onwards

Then there is the Caterpillar service reporter magazine and finally the Caterpillar Service magazine
All have good information , the latter two seem to run alongside each other?

Can anyone shed any light on when they started and stopped and the purpose of them

thankyou

Hi Digger Dozer

I note with interest your post regarding early "CATERPILLAR" service material, you ask the question as to when did they start issuing the Service Magazine on a regular basis, I happen to have in my collection a set of the first issues which are dated 1931 on issue No 1.

These were being thrown in the rubbish a few years ago by my local "CAT" dealership, was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time as it were and saved them, dated from 1931 through to December 1947, all in quite good condition. I treasure these very much in my collection. If you require any early info from these at any time please contact me - email - [email protected] and I may be able to assist you.
