Not sure what the grader is worth. Ultimately is the seller willing to give it to a good home and save it from the scrapper.
The cows may get pissed because they lost their scratching post.
It's probably worth $500-$1000 but once you start finding tires for it ; you'd be in it perhaps way more than it's worth.
You may find luck with Coker Tire with the odd size. Hopefully the rims are salvageable since they're split rims.
I'm dealing with bad rims on a #44 Power Controlled grader with bad rear tires. and split rings not servicable I since found a set of steel wheels most likely from a #66 grader that I am going to adapt by changing the Timkin bearings to fit the smaller axles of the #44. Diameter may be off some from the original tires.
Still in the works.
I still may be interested in that grader if you're not. Try to get the serial number of it to verify exactly what he has.
I will hopefully get the tag info, thank you for all the information about it. Once I find out more I will contact you back.
So the double frame No 33s had serial numbers starting with 7A and the single frame were 2J. There’s parts catalogs for both in the Tech Library and a spec sheet. I’d love to put that brochure you’ve got side-seat in the Tech Library.
I saw this one on Facebook. It may be a little big for your D2 depending on how aggressive you use it. Our 33 that is about the same size works OK on a 5J D2 if you are just moving around a little loose dirt but can be all our 4G D4 wants if you get aggressive. I think he is a little high on price for the condition. That being said smaller graders tend to bring more money than the big ones. A 22 would be ideal for your D2. I'm curious where you are in Illinois. We have the same first name and people I know always think your posts are mine.
Hi is this Mr. Clayton Smith? I live in Sullivan I believe we have communicated some.
I believe this is also a # 33 not a #30, you wouldn’t happen to know where some decent rims are that would fit it by chance?
That's me. I have the same rim issue with an Adams grader I'm helping with. We were looking at getting new blank rims and welding them to the spokes. Those are available at most commercial tire dealers. We are taking a 33 to Rantoul for the show. You are welcome to pull it with your tractor if you bring it.
Well I was hoping to bring a d2 toolbar and maybe this road grader but will see what I can get accomplished, I appreciate the offer Clayton S. I’m definitely coming to Rantoul.
Here's some information from the condensed catalog of that era. And the dedicated catalog for the 30 grader.

Hi! I'm restoring a Cat30 and I can't find the manual. I was wondering if you could help me where can i find it. I want to show the machine full set in a Mexican Cat Dealership.
