Caterpillar D8-8R Steering Clutch parts !?

Hello All ,, looks like I have to rebuild one or likely both steering clutch on my D8 8R ,,, left one wont drive heavy load turning with big discs... Also will redo the brakes while all is out ,,, Question ,, will I find plates etc in Aussie ,, may need a drum as well ,,and will likely need new springs ,,, not pulled out yet ! . Looks like Cat dealer has the brake linings new ! .... Regards peter

There's a 2U carcass in toowoomba but it can be difficult to get part's of them.
2U will be a different part number but the complete clutch should fit.
Bit of a job to do what you have to do but good lifting equipment helps.
Tillys handed me blank linings that were not drilled recently so I declined them and used some blank linings like already had.
Make sure to replace the bull pinion seals while you are in there.
