Hi Cody
As popular as the D6C/D is, you shouldn't have much trouble finding an older machine that has lost an engine or another part of the drive train and has good UC. I got lucky and found some after market SALT chains with 20 in pads (90%) and a full set of 10, double flange (80%) Cat rollers all for $3,400.00. Nose around and take your time if you have it. You'll find what you need. I'll bet you will do it in less than 6 months.

Hi guys,
Well found a used undercarriage (the whole track frames) including rails, top and bottom rollers idlers, pads, drive sprockets, and etc.the guy wants 4500.00 for everthing. The parts are about 80 percent or better.Looking for opinions on the price, does this seem decent or to high?
that's a really decent price for all the bits you mentioned, head down to your local dealer and find out what all those parts cost and you'll be looking near 20 grand. id be snapping that up in a heartbeat.
Congratulations. Sounds like your LOTTO numbers just hit. You are getting a lot more than I got for only $1,100.00 more. And it looks like you got it done in about 75 days.
Good on you!

I think you should pass on it......Oh, where did you say the parts were located? 😖mile:
Seriously, that sounds like a deal. My undercarriage is getting pretty well gone, and no more hours than I use it, it would make a lot more sense to buy good used. Are 76A track frames the same as 10K?....For the right price I might consider changing mine out as they're not in the best of shape.
Track frames for the 76A & 10K are the same until 10K3553 when there were some changes done to the diagonal brace shape but I believe they will still fit.
Early D6C tractor bottom rollers used smaller diameter attaching bolts. If 15/16" socket fits = small bolt rollers, if 1and1/8" socket fits = large bolt rollers. I don't know know what S/N the larger bolt rollers were introduced, perhaps Old Magnet can help with this.
This will not matter if you are swapping the entire roller frames, but if the new-to-you roller frames are the later model large bolt variety you will need to order the large bolt rollers when the rollers need to be replaced.
