Hi guys i recently purchased a second hand replacement head for my 955h the problem is the new head has a tube running through the intake manifold do any of you know what this may be my guess is an exhaust or somthing of that nature ?

Pony motor exhaust heat exchanger....... helps to warm the air for starting the diesel in cold weather. Will not hurt to block it off in place or can be removed and the openings blocked.

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄
