I have a 1961 D-4 with a Caterpillar blade M/N 4S, 4A3217 (S/N?). The pins and the holes are worn enough that the the connecting part of the blade frame that the ram connects to leans over under the track pads, it broke the 4 bolts and sent the pad flying. Are there bushing in that blade frame that could be replaced? Fire season is here and I want to be able to set some fire lines around our ranch.
Could you post a photo or two so we are all on the same page as to what happened? Thanks.

you can make new bushes for the ram eyes. if you have a lathe or a friendly machinist bronze works well.
if your talking about the pivot frame there are bushes in that pivot too. you could fix that up by line boring and fitting new bushes or do it how ours was done cut it out of the side plate and then spin it in a lathe
