Hi all I'm just wondering what batteries I would need for my 60a 955h as when I purchased it the batteries had been taken out I also would like to convert the generator to alternator cheers😊

Some 955h had starting engine and use a 12v. battery and when the 955 is direct starting he has 24v.battery

the 955H originally used 4-6v batteries in series.
Part # 8F2142 RPB 5S7219 Group type 2 or 2H
Google Cat batteries for info on specs.

You will have to make your own mount to run a belt drive alternator in place of the generator.

I wonder if a 4D would fit in each battery box area? These are around a 1000 amps at 12 volts each.
