Hello,

I know there have been discussions regarding replacing a D330 engine in a a Cat 850 loader with a 3304, has anyone actually completed this and if so can they share there experience?

Currently the Cat 850 has a spun bearing on the crank, and is it true that the D330 was prone to this?

I'll leave it to those with better knowledge and libraries than I have for the final word but I think that the 950s switched from the D330 engine to the 3304 in the later machines. How-wevver, I have no idea of the serial # at which the switch may have occurred.
