Several years back in my teens I took off the plates with a screwdriver got the rivets out and took it home to clean it with brasso worked like a charm stuck them in the garage so I know there somewhere in there.Lol Anyways how would I go about putting them back on?What tools or materials?Is it tricky or easy?Thanks in advance-Joey

you can still buy proper rivets the type were you use a rivet punch and dolly to form them. you just tap in a some of the right size. that is if you were able to remove the old ones.

Called drive rivets. Buy at McMaster Carr

If these are what you are asking about, I bought some drive screws from the ACMOC a while back. 10 cents a piece. I see that they are listed in the store under Restoration parts but no picture. Pete
