Caterpillar 2 ton

well what can you tell me about this 2 ton. i got a question about the steering clutches when did they change from the T bar to the pull handles? i do not have a serial number. from what i can see it the air cleaner is not right as well as the seat frame. ice pads for tracks. how hard is it to find a carb for it? it's missing the side panels too. this still has the Over head cam motor in still right?

From whatI can see from all the sideway pictures, that tractor is a mess!! No hood or side shields, seat not right, air cleaner not right, steering clutch levers???? no such thing on a 2 Ton. wrong mag, fenders???? no such thing.Belt pully missing. does it even have a carb???? What may I ask is the person asking price for it???

thanks guys for the info. i like the idea you put forward about just running her the way she is and do not attempt to do a restoration . just trying to see if it would be worth wile as it a 11H drive one way to go "look at it" the price might be a little hi with all the stuff missing. but he was asking 2000.00. Bill thanks for the info about the mag i bet your 2 ton is real nice but it's would be even further than the drive for this one plus are dallier dose not buy much down there.
