Thanks,

wow very nice and quit rare motorpatrol!!!
i would estimate the value is + 5000 usd, and complete restored a lot more, mabe 10.000.usd

on the transmisioncase the is a nr, (see picture a bit of the right of the Arrow)
on the left side on engine where the flat area is , there is the same nr. (see picture you see the nr next to waterpump)

and mabe there are brass plates, look for : PV.... ( pv is for the fifteens then a number from 1 to 4 digits as a serial nr.)
or motorpatrol .....
the first 15's were built in 1929, but not so much, then the most in 1930 and 1931, and the last few were in 1932, then the twenty two came. and fifteen production was stopped.
i have 3 fifteens here and a lot other people here on the board too and we are able help with info you need.also getting it running or restoring.
the Cat TEN is the same design but just a bit smaller in all.
can you post a picture of the operators station please?? i am inteseted if/ how clutch handels and brake pedals are connected...

That would be a PV-15. They where produced from 1929 till 1932. As far as how much it worth, It depends on condition of machine. There are very few of these produced and still less surviving, but many of the parts ln this machine are made just for it. But the main thing is the seller and purchaser must agree upon the price. Where is it located at and is it for sale?

Just looked on the Chapter 12 archives site of Motor graders and it list the 15 Motor Patrol as being built from 1929 to 1930. The serial number range is Y1 to Y525. It produced 18.08 hp and weighed in at 11,560 lb. I know they are out there but far between and even less in the restored state. Feel free to go to the chapter 12 link in the website link section, a great amount of work went into putting this site together by a great Caterpillar man.
