I believe it was LaPlant Choate that provided the early pumps, don't think Cat had one at the time but I have no proof.

LaPlant Choate provided most of the pumps and jacks (their term for what we call cylinders) for use with the bulldozers they manufactured.

There is a Caterpillar "Hoist Pump Group" with part # W-290-A, which included a bracket and gear pump (rear mounted) for use with the Sixty. There is also a "Hoist Pump Oil Tank and piping group, part # W-852-A, also for the Sixty. Several parts do interchange between the 30 and 60.

I have one of the Caterpillar pumps and it is not marked anywhere.

Here are a couple of scans from the Sixty Attachment Parts Catalog, Form 3098

The 30 Be-Ge adapter for S and PS tractors is #2240A for the 1000 and 1400 series pumps. This may be difficult to find. The adapter for a 3 Lunger is Be-Ge #3328A, this adapter will fit the 30 main case but is probably to short for pump and tank clearance. A spacer would have to be made or possibly a Be-Ge clutch would add enough length. In the S and PS parts book it shows the front housing for the belt pulley attachment as the part number 1A2235 and the same number for the 3 Lungers. In the west there were lots of Be-Ge's on 3 Lungers for farm work. You would have to make up the shaft to fit. I still have a few Be-Ge parts available and Associated Tractor in CA has parts. 800-735-1301
