Hi. Wondering if some of the Ten and Fifteen owners on this board can give me some advice about the scarcity/availability of a generator and lighting kit items (front and rear lights, accessories) to fit either a Ten or a Fifteen? And, same question for a 540 PTO and belt pulley attachment.

Starting to put aside funds to acquire a small gas Cat - for storage and towing reasons either a Ten or a Fifteen fit best - but would like to have the crawler equipped with lighting, and a PTO/belt pulley to run some accessories. Wondering how tough it's going to be to find the necessary items to refit a restored Ten or Fifteen with the required components? Are these items being reproduced, or will I need to hunt down original components?

Thanks for your thoughts on the topic.

How much money you have??? Multiply it by 5x to 10x if you can find the proper p/n lighting and generator for a Ten. They are very scarce and pricy. Greg

Greg,

Thanks for the heads-up on the expense of the lighting option for Ten and Fifteen tractors.

What kind of money are we talking about here? $1,000 or $2,000 for a generator, lights and accessories? More?

Assume from your comments that these items will have to be scoured for across the country using all possible contacts. How infrequently do these iems come up for sale?

Thanks!

Your looking at about $1500 for a belt pulley for a 10 that is in good shape. They are very scarce.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
