Does anyone recognize this as a Cat service tool? If so what is it's purpose? There are no part number markings. One arm has wedge shape on plate at large hole end.
It looks like the plate would bolt to the hitch of a wheel loader and the arms hold a press to force the pin in. I wouldn't ever use it because it is missing the 4 large holes to put guide bolts up into the pin to position it.

Kent, AFAIK, all genuine Cat service tools have a part number stamped on them However, there are "Fabricated Tools" that Cat give instructions for making, in the tool guides.
It's possible that this is a Fabricated Tool based on one of those guides.
