Don't know about USA but over the Pond here when I get a New colour , I ask my Paint Man to put some of it into Pressure Pack . I know exactly what you mean , those fidley bits that need a coat and you don't want go to the trouble of setting up your gun . I also carry Etch Primer in cans for same reason . Not cheap but saves a lot of time and no Waste . LJ

Go to Orchard Supply. There is a color called "Tool Gray" that is very close. It is in the Orchard Brand of spray cans. At least it is cheap and easy until you can spray everything with the big gun.

Shimizu1 - I painted my Cat 60 about 13 years ago and used paint from Cat and the color was called "Dawn Gray". I was able to get it in gallons and spray cans. I would touch up any spots that needed it with the spray cans as time went on. Just the other day I was at our Cat dealer picking up some parts and asked one of the parts guys for a couple cans and they said that the color has been discontinued by Cat. So I now am also in the hunt for a close match. I will have to look into John's suggestion.
Thanks a lot guys, I'm off to the hardware store!

Try www.VALU-BILT. I orderd paint from them for my farmall regular (gray). Thay used the oregnal formula from INT. They will make you the oregnal paint for cat. they also will put it in spray cans, for touch up jobs.
I e-mailed ValuBuilt and asked about Cat gray and received a reply stating they can't provide "Cat Gray". What do you make of that? Is there a contact person in the paint department?
Just wanted to add in my 2 cents. I probably tried a dozen different brands and shades of gray paint when I was redoing my Riecke Thirty model. The one I finally settled on was Valspar Gloss Medium Grey 65041 that I got at Lowes. Comparing it to the Norscot Twenty, which was matched to the federal standard color ACMOC specifies as Cat Grey, it is a little darker, but if they aren't sitting right next to each other you don't notice the difference.
