that is pretty country you live in, doesn't the chunnel depart England near Folkestone? I was over visiting my sister-in-law and her husband 6 years ago, they live in eyethorne, not to far from from Folkestone. their was a beach being rebuilt at that time, they were using LGP D6m's and articulated rock trucks to replace the gravel on the beach.

According to my records, 7M4185 was made early 1942, is that the machine which Robert Self was advertising for sale ?

Yes this is the one robert self had up for sale! And I also brought abother d7m tractor of him which I am currently restoring now hopefully to he ready for the war and peace show which we do every year! Here are some pictures of it. It has a British scraper box to go behind it too!![]()
