Hi
I want to remove the pony motor all together and fit electric starter. Can someone tell me what I need to purchase for this conversion. The dozer also has the hi/Lo starter trans. I am in Queensland Aust. Quite prepared to purchase from the States.
Just need to know what is required.
Regards
Ray

G'Day Deiselray.
John Davis auto electrician in Toowoomba is the man to go to.
Phone 0746382144.
I believe he works part time so you may have to keep trying to get him.
Let us know how you go.

There is no commercially available starter conversion for the D7 3T/4T. Requires an adapter plate be fabricated for the odd bolting pattern arrangement. You will need to search for a supplier that knows and has these conversions.
