Hello everyone,
I am in the process of rebuilding a Cat hydraulic cylinder. Cylinder group number 7F2419. I ordered a new trunnion for the rod end (Part No. 5F117😎 and it did not come with the two half shells that suround it in the cylinder rod end. Mine are shot. Called Caterpillar and they have no idea what part no. would be. They are not shown in either one of my parts catalog for the No. 46 hydraulic control. The two halfs in my old cylinder rod are made of brass.
Anyone out there have any ideas? Please help.
Thank you
Steve

Looked through my various blade catalogs and don't see where any of them used a liner like you describe on the trunion end....just on the cylinder end.

Thank you all very much. My book calls out 6F5808. I will have to check to see if that is still correct.
Learn something every day. Hopefully.
Thanks

The old 6F5808 # required four pieces and is replace by 2 of the numbers gemdozer gave (that's per cylinder).

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
