Hi Forum, Purchased a replacement engine in Australia for my Cat D7 3T dozer which I use for prospecting in Western Australia. Dozer was running well 10 years ago but left out in the weather and now is stuck. Engine has 2200 hours on meter and looks good from the outside with no weeping head gaskets or charred oil from the ports. I am chasing new parts for a rebuild of the liners, pistons, rings, gaskets and bits and pieces in an effort to get it going again. Have been to our local Cat dealer and most parts are available but from all over the world. Can anyone recommend a company in the States where I get parts.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
