Anyone happen to guess what model starter this is? It came off a d6 9u. There’s no tag and I’m not getting good part numbers off this thing. I’ve already put it on 24 volts just not in the pictures

Delco MT 40 I think is the model from back in the day. But I am not a expert by any means, so that is a educated guess.

Ended up finding some numbers where the tag was.

That 1113740 is superseded by 1990453 (42MT 24v with 12 teeth straight - I assume that the D6 also uses a helical tooth arrangement so you'd want to buy that gear from ebay. Or are you continuing to use the 1113740?

To be honest I don’t know yet, I’m gonna try another starter shop

Could that part number be 1113746? That would be the correct starter for the 9U D6 and 7U D4 etc, cat part # 3L1227.

That appears to be the correct mounting and drive assemblies for those applications, and it would be 24V.

That's a nice looking starter, the drive looks new.
