Hi Dave, the 7R series are French built, 7R503 would make it a '73 build with 3304 engine @75h.p.

upon closer inspection of the serial number plate, it is in French. the tracks are 20 inches wide as i think someone has cut 5 inches off both sides of the tracks. the blade is a 10 ft straight blade with tilt. Hours are unknown as a new hour meter has been installed and the previous owner cannot remember the hours on the old meter. Engine seems straong and the grousers have been built up. New sprockets and new track tension springs, as per previous owner. right now it is at the shop to get a facelift for the blade as it was cracked in multple places. no visible welds on the tractor and no visible leaks.

anyone have a guess as to the wieght?

anyone have any idea how much this machine could be worth?

I am new to Cat equipment as the last two i had were ACHD20's. Where can i get manuals, parts books for this machine?

Thank you for your responses so far.

Dave.

Gday
For manuals you could try Fleabay or try the local Cat dealer.
Here is a link to the Cat website. They do reprints of old Cat manuals

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
