Cat D330 C Power unit for sawmill
Serial # 4B1888 Industrial

What is the difference in the water pumps on the D330 C Industrial vs a D330 in a piece of equipment? Having trouble coming up with a complete pump. Cat only offers a kit , aftermarket says not for industrial. Can anyone tell me other engines that the water pump would interchange with that would be easy to find? I am looking for a complete pump. Thanks for any assistance.

The D330 uses a belt driven pump/fan combination. The D330C is a gear driven pump and the fan drive is separate. The D330C pump and 3304 pump are gear driven but not the same. Any D330C water pump should work on a D330C engine.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
