cat d2 oilcooler bypass

d2 oil cooler already looped from rad does it have to be looped ? or can it be pluged by oil filter thanks

I believe most people have it looped as I did on mine. If you plug it I think there is a bypass/check valve that has to be removed from the bottom of the filter assembly.
