Great photos. Squirrels can be nasty around electrics, small incendiary devices with their tails igniting rapidly when they cause a short! 😮

I heard a rumor about dryer sheets discouraging them from nesting. When I found a nest in my pickup, I put some in there to find out. Will check when I get back home next week

There's no nest and no damage. I had just reinstalled the centershift gearbox which took a while. Was working there for a couple hours. Went to my truck for a tool, turned around and there he was. I actually walked over, petted his tail and then he quietly hopped out and left. I never saw him before that. Ran up there in the few minutes it took me to get a wrench? He left after I petted his tail and no sign of him now. This is better than the bum I found sleeping under it not long ago. That got incident gor a bit dicey before he left. I'll take Mr. Squirrel any day.

I had dog and squirrel episode that cause a lot of damage for what it was. A 1960 Chevy C 60 truck one big dog one small dog and a smart ass ground squirrel. I saw the dogs barking around the truck did not think much about it. I wanted to start truck a few days latter. Lift the hood to check oil and water. Loose wires every which way, a plug wire hanging with broken plug in it. It took hours putting it together. A more modern vehicle may of never run again without a whole wiring harness.
