Karl Boston drove his superb 830 to Finning Cat open day at Llantrisant. It turned a few heads as we headed towards the Finning depot.
Picture shows Karl and Peter Boston infront of the only green Cat in the yard.
Well done Finning's for a good day and many thanks to Karl for a great trip on the 830

Martyn,

Has Karl now sourced a blade for his 830M?

I trust that your IH125 which attempts to pass it's self off as a Cat 955 was not present at the event?

Martyn I here that you have Knackerd/broken your foot???? this has stopped your bit of earth moving hire with that old heap of scrap you call an IH 125, I hope you find another job for it in the 6 week's you have off work????,
David Moggeridge has had his hip opp,and is now resting at home, he has been doing O,K, by himself and managed to take his car out for a spin yesterday, I was hoping that he might be up to the trip to A. Hinches do on Sat, but it might be to soon after the opp, anyhow I have said to him that as soon as he is back in the area I will pick him up in the Jeep and we will have a day out doing Man stuff,(on the Beer)
Get youself healed up fast before Mr Boston sends that heap of scrap of yours to the melting pot,,,

Hello Tony
I am stuck in plaster for a month, and all my projects are on hold. Was looking forward to a steam show this weekend.I was going to take my roller there.
I am sure Karl will not scrap my 125. It worked well down at his yard, it had not run for 8 years.Had a couple of minor faults on it which were soon fixed.
I have got to get some glue for my house bound project,a 1/25 scale D8H kit.
Hope to see you soon
Cheers

Ithink you mean slipper Tony, can't get the other one on. Can't wait to get fit again, for another bash at the tip. No battery on the 125,but lent Karl some earprotectors as he said he will be taking you to Little Casterton haha.
Just joking mate.
Take care, hope to see you at a tractor do sooner rather than later. The ground can't be level as it needs a fall to let the water run into the edge of the site, damn Welsh weather.I wish the machine was fitted with a scarifier as the compacted area around the stables was very hard.I think Sprockets D9G had been there before. The plan was to finnish off this bit next Wednesday,no place to put my Zimmer frame on the 125.Any pictures from Casterton?
Cheers

I think I saw that older guy in the Lord of the Rings movies? Here, we would say he looks like he came from up around the head of the creek somewhere...I don't think I would mess with either of those gentlemen...😛
