Anyone have any recommendations on how to fix a broken temp gauge on a 22 as well as anyone who will redo these gauges like new? The gauge and wiring are good its just the sensor that is broken.

Thanks in Advance,
Matt

I had my D2/3J Gauges done at APT International in Bloomington Minn. (877)856-7103 or (952) 881-7095. They did a fantastic job, although it was not cheap. :jaw:

Where they able to replace the face to original ? How much did it cost?

I suggest a search for a Thread about 2 years old on this very subject of who does gauge repairs/restorations. I am sure I had a link on my old computer for a place in Ohio (I think?)

hello Side-seat,
Found the invoice from 2007. They replaced the bourbon tube on the SW large face tempgauge. $225.00. I had them restore the dial faces on the Sylphon Oil pressure gauge $145.00 and the Sylphon Fuel pressure gauge $165.00. The gauges look and perform like new. These old beveled glass gauges are so much better than the small face flat glass crap that Cat started installing on their:thumb machines in the late 40's or early 50's. Just my opinion only. Hope this helps.👍

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
