Hi Folks
I have a Cat Fifteen and one of my customers has asked if i can locate any gauges for his 22 restoration project.  My Fifteen only has an oil pressure gauge, is it the same as the one in the 22 ?   T-543 is the p/n for the fifteen one.
What is the P/N for the 22 Gauge please ? Does anyone sell them these days ? I was lucky enough to pick up an new/old surplus one years ago for mine.
Cheers
Dave

Dave,
My parts book shows 2B5714 for the water gauge for all Cat 22 serial numbers and 8B2355 for the oil gauge for all Cat 22 serial numbers.
I'm can't answer your question about availability.

  • The oil pressure gauge for the 10, 15 and 22 were the same. There were a few different manufacturers, US Gauge Co. and Sylphon the more common. The 22 water temp gauge can be rebuilt but has not been reproduced.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
