Here is a photo of the 24V alternator conversion which I purchased from Granger Tractor in Ohio. If it works as good as it looks, we will be in business.
Cost was $425.00 plus shipping. This one is the best one I have seen. I installed it and finally attempted to start the engine yesterday after having several set backs. In any case the electric start conversion starts the engine the way it should start. I will time the start sequence exactly, however I am very pleased with it. It took a transfer pump rebuild, new injector nozzles and pumps from Italy/Trac II but it works. No time at all and it is running. It has been a long road with this project, but when it rolled over yesterday and started that quickly, It was worth it.
