I have a really nice 2 ton cat, with original pressed pads, crossbar steering, air cleaner in tact, etc

it sat for 3 years inside my barn and now the engine is stuck

I pulled the pan, put some pressure on the crank with a bottle jack and still nothing. looking up inside #2 cylinder, I can see soem rust on the cylinder walls. I filled the cylinders with diesel fuel and will try to soak it out.

One of my questions is, if I have to pull the head, where can I get a head gasket set? How about piston rings, assuming they are standard.

thanks for any help

by the way, what is the approximate value of the machine today, I paid $3500 for it 3 years ago. ( with engine running)

Hi Country,
no specific tensions are given for these units but the attached should help.
Cheers, and Welcome to the BB.

Hi country,
sorry, ran out of att. post space so had to delete the data. Always save anything you see of interest as post space is limited and to answer others queries we have to keep deleting former post data.
Sorry, can only post "tension 2", as no space left until I delete some thing recently posted--won't do that yet to give others a chance to see and save it!!!
Cheers Eddie B.
