Hi all,

I would like to know what size the spring is that is used to hold the water regulator in place as the original ones are
discontinued from cat. The spring p/n is L1119. Maybe someone has an alternative to this.

Looking for an opinion on my air cleaner set up.
The machine originally turned up with no air cleaner extension from the firewall up to where you would mount a duckbill or precleaner.
It instead had a blanking plate over the hole through the firewall where a flanged elbow with two 3/8 bolts went through. There was just a short pipe coming into the air cleaner from behind the firewall. there are no holes drilled in my firewall to mount the steady bracket that holds the air cleaner extension pipe to the firewall. I will try to include some pics of this to illustrate.
My question is.... do I leave it as "original" to this machine or drill the two 3/8 hole and mount the extension pipe as per the book .
The p/n of the firewall is T444 which is standard by the book and also by the pics.
Just to clarify I started mounting an upright extension tube and then noticed there were no drill holes to mount it.

Cheers djcat

That if it had been originally setup for Orchard use, then it may never had a pipe going above the height of the Hood? Or there is a Rev change where earlier models didn't have a support, due to elbows breaking off, they may have added the support bracket?? I would probably leave it without the Bracket figuring it had been released from the Factory that way.
IMO,
Jeff
