We just rebuilt a cat 10. When turning it over with a drill we get 25 lbs. of oil pressure & it leaks oil out the back bearing into the clutch (there is no oil seal). What can we do to stop this leak.

If you turned the crankshaft down you need to have the reverse thread also turned deeper into the crankshaft to return oil to the drain hole in rearmain bearing. Need to make sure the passage way is clear also. Got more questions call me 716-753-0056 Ron Meeder

What are you turning over, the crank or just the oil pump? If the crank isn't turning, the threaded groove won't be doing its job.

Thanks for the reply. We are turning the crank with a 3/4 in. drill.
