you must file all flat surfaces to get the gaskets to seal properly.

Your gaskets are mabe too thin.
Use 2mm corc-neoprene for big lid gasket and for on top of pedestal inside.and find out how thick the lowest gasket ( just a o ring will do) should be, mount pedestal without any gaskets and measure how many free play pedastal has with with checking free play with screw G. That must be thickness of lowest gasket, then put the 2mm gaskets on top of pedestal and for the big lid.
Ones you know the trick its not soo difficult...
If by any reasons you want to sell your carb let me know.
A new mavel slebner carb with 90 degree elbow will do aswel.

Thanks for help from fellow members. We had a carb shop rework carb it still had leaks We have leaks down to a drip. It seems the end guide on throttle shaft is worn. We can see a way to seal.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
