cat 10 / 15 carb seals

how does the seals look like from the ensign bet 1 carb from the TEN, and then i mean the seals on both sides of the cilinder.
i see there 3 wholes , but for the below cilinder seal i dont know if the 2 ports need to be connected, ther was a ring installed but then the two chanels are conncted,
i am also trying to figure out how this carb works , but without succes... looks very complicated to me, i even have a drawing of it where i with colors now trying to visualise the chanels...

I have sealed the top of the pedestal or cylinder with the 3-hole gasket. On the bottom, I have used the ring type seal. That is what has come in the kits I have seen. You bring up a good point about the passages being connected. My carbs start easy but I have trouble leaning them out. The sparkplugs tell me I am running too rich and I do not need to choke to start. G
