How about some pictures of your D8 doing some pushing. We all enjoy them. Or a short video for the sound effect.
Since you asked. 😊
Here's a video that I shoot few days ago. I haven't edited it yet, but it's something. I need a new soledoind for the pony starter. The old one is sticking and I have to tap it gently to get the starter starting and also to make it stop.
Enjoy 😎😎

Looking at the new paint on the main you must have gone into it pretty deep. Thanks for saving another one. I like the look of the cab.

I have a Carco towing winch on the back of my D7 3T. They used an adaptor plate one inch thick that covers the entire back of the Cat--heavy sucker. It's a very good winch. A lot of people prefer them to Hyster; I don't have an opinion on that.
So find a Cat adaptor plate or blueprint for one, otherwise you might be getting a heck of a door stop...
Thank's, I really love to bring old machines back to life. I can't tell which is more fun, bringing them home from somebody's back woods or frist test drive after first start.
Jack you anwered my biggest questiong. The thing that worried me was if installing Cargo winch to Caterpillar would require intermediate gearbox or someting like that. If adabter plate is all that is needed, I think I have use for that winch. I can make CAD drawings of it and have that plate plasma cut nearby shop.
