Carco J120 winch Filter?

Can anyone give me a number for the external oil filter on this winch. Has a Donaldson filter but number is painted over and our Cat dealer here takes days to get back to me on parts. Winch is on a 1973 D8H. Need to cross it to a Fram or Purolator etc so I can replace it as I am changing the oil.

Napa was able to cross it and supply me with filter in stock part # 1261.
