Does anyone know where I could find info on my winch? Have been searching the internet with no avail..... or maybe I am not reading the tag right, looks like a series F and farther on it has a 4 by itself. The layers of paint look thicker than the plate itself.

Winch in question in on a D6 9U. Would like to check over the winch before it has to be used.

checked out the site, but they only go back to 1970. If this winch came on the dozer I would need to go back to 1953.

Tag reads,

Model F serial # 2213 F 4

still working on removing the rest of the paint.........
