Can you please help me to identify the exact model of my D4D dozer?

I would really like to buy a service manual for this dozer and to be able to find part numbers for it as needed.

My dozer doesnt have any serial number plates that I can find. I can get as many photos as needed to help identify it.

I think its around a 1973?

Found Traxcavator 80H871 on the engine.
Found 6203531 on the hydraulic tank.

Found Traxcavator 80H871 on the engine.
Found 6203531 on the hydraulic tank.

I cant find any other serial number plates. The one from the dash and from the back of the machine are missing.

D330c engine is from a 1969 941 Traxcavator
62G3531 Hydraulic control is a single valve unit originally designated for a 78A 1963-1968 D4D

If there is no tag or signs of rivets on the dash I suspect it is a 78A model tractor.
Try scraping the paint where the rear tag would go. S/N may be stamped there.

78A3346 is a 1965 model.

I just bid on a service manual on the day but in the meantime… You would not happen to know the part numbers for the filters for this machine would you?

This is my 1st Caterpillar… Will the service manual include part numbers for basic maintenance items like the filters?
