I have a question about cable dozers and cable operated scrapers. Did the Cat 60s, 70s, 435s and 463s have 2 or 3 cable controls. I am looking at a couple of LeTourneau
scrapers and they have one for the bowl and one for the ejector and apron combined.
My question is, can you operate a cable dozer and a scraper or do you have to unhook the dozer to do scraper work. I spent hours watching them as a kid but I missed that and the old pull scrapers i have seen now have been converted to hydraulics. Ray

The scrapers used the rear mount two cable CCU's. It was also possible to add a front CCU for the dozer or as you say, switch to one of the rear cables for dozer operation.
