I need help Identifying which company may have manufactured the cab on the D4C. The D4c is located in Northern California, but came out of Moses Lake Washington. Any help would be appreciated.

Ryan the one the D4 looks like a Hennley the one the D6 or D5 looks like a Pringlle.
If the one on the D4 is made from Fiberglass then its a very good bet its a Hennley. If its made from Steel could be a Cass cab, or a Harlold Electric out of Walla Walla Washington. The Cass cabs were built in Dayton Washington. We have two of the Cass Cabs one a 9UD6 and the other on a D5SA.

Hope this helps you.

Seems Woody has it covered but you might contact John Parks at www.tractorparts.com as a lot of those East Washington state tractors wind up there.

Woody,

Thank you for the information. The cab on the D6B was built by Harold Electric. It still has the tag. They are great to deal with. The Cab on the D4C is steel. Do you know if Cass is still in business?

Ryan,
If memory serves me well I believe that Harold Electric built a six sided steel cab in addition to the 4 sided square version.
Regarding the Cass Cabs no they have been out of business for a long time. Not even sure if he is still around the Dayton Washington area, could be I guess. We buy a lot of parts via Harold Electric out of Walla Walla. Like you said, there very nice to deal with for AC parts, window weather stripping, etc. You might try to Google Cass in the Dayton Washington area see what you get for hits. We have had the Cass cabs on the tractors since 1978 with no cracks and or other issues. The 9UD6 has a square cab because it has a dozer on it and it makes it easier to see the blade, not nearly as good as the six sided cab in the dust in the field however.

If i get time I'll shoot a couple of pictures of our cats for you.

Best,
Woody

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
