For you folks that are coming to Tulare this week, here is the weather according to the Fresno Bee newspaper.
I live 9 miles north of the showgrounds, and unfortunately it is raining and windy at this very moment, but the paper says it is predicted to be clearing on Tuesday, partly cloudy through Friday,74 for Friday, and sunny in the 70s for the weekend.

PLEASE NOTE, this is the first year that the show will be starting on Friday.
Some folks from out of state rang me yesterday, and were not aware of the extra day this year.

I got a buddy that lives in LA and he wants to bring his toys up Sat. morning. Is this going to be a problem with the show starting Friday?

Thanks M-

Mike,
I would surmise that he would be asked to unload in the parking area to the east of pavillion "C", and drive his toys to the display area of his choosing.
I will be at the show grounds tomorrow, and will inquire about this question, and if I recieve a different answer, I will let you know asap

This show for a few years has unofficially started on Friday, as alot of people come Thursday night and set up RV's, and the swap meet people are usually all set up by Friday noon....so it is really no different, and with so many people working, there is always a large amount on Saturday morning coming in...

Did they have anyone manning the gates and collecting fees on Fridays before this year?

Nobody manned the gates for $$ on Fridays past. I was there this afternoon and there are lots of folks with their RV's lined up to get their chosen parking spots for camping tomorrow am. I dropped my Best 30 and a few other goodies and will be back late tomorrow afternoon.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
