I am encountering more and more brass plated steel rivets when relining brakes, You can't tell them from a a solid brass rivet by looking, so check your rivets with a magnet. The steel rivets will destroy your drums, I know this for a fact because of 2- $800 drums in my International 500. I think that it is just rotten to put these things on the market, dishonest is more like it, more than likley Chinese garbage, the brass plating is meant to deceive. The price for the lack of solid brass rivets can be very expensive indeed. Check them-----don't take somebody's word for it, buy genuine Cat rivets. Tad

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
