I ran it out of fuel last night like an idiot. Today of course I can't get it started and to make matters worse I have 490 belly dumps of fill coming into the property while I type. Is there a bleed/prime procedure that I need to do to get it started again?

You can loosen the fuel lines off of the fuel injection pump that goes to the injectors and turn the engine over with the starting engine with the compression release in the run position with the throttle open. This will work the air out of the system. As soon as you don't see air bubbles coming out of the injector lines that you loosened you can tighten them back while still cranking the diesel engine. It should start firing on each cylinder as you tighten the lines.

Thanks, this worked perfectly and had me up an running in about 5 minutes. I could only reach two of them without taking the hood off but that seemed to be good enough.

That is all it usually takes if you get two cylinders firing the others will pickup without bleeding the air. Glad you are up and running. This has happened to me several times so don't feel bad.
