My good freind Wes Crandal has the same set up, I don't know about that one but Wes's is a "HOT ROD"😄 he has alot of time and money in it. Well back to the subject, he had luck finding you name it in oregan from some d4 guy. I can get the phone # for you. But the rippers he had make.
[quote="power stroke 99"]Where can I find a blade and ripper like the one on Glums D4 in this thread

The type of ripper assembly you have referred to is difficult to come by. In my opinion, if you can find one, you have struck gold. Wes Crandall bought his from me some years ago.
The unit you are probably looking for was original equipment on the HT4 loader tractor, so if you were to check with various dead tractor heavens around the country, the HT4 is what you need to zero in on.
I would encourage you to pursue your search, as the addition of the ripper assembly to a D47U with a dozer will put you in a position to do almost any type of work. I wouldn't try to do any D47U dozer work without one.

Can this ripper be modified to work behind a D4N Winch?
