gordon if you keep a selection of photos you could then send them to cemex to remind them of how a good job is done ๐
Graham, I like the way you think !! We are still doing a bit for them and so a few updated pictures seem to find their way into e mails Strange that.
I have more pics to post but it seems i have had my quota, does one have to delete or is there a time when the full quota elapses ?
Regards Gordon.
hello Gordon ,yes if you have used your quoter ,you have to good into your profile(usercp) and delete some of the pic,if you post heaps of pic it is worth using photo shack or photo bucket web site to store your pic ,bruce oz
Hi bruce, thanks for that. I have deleted some but seems daft as i haven't finished some of the posts. My quota was only about 25 pictures ?
Regards Gordon.
Right, now I am treading carefully here as a non-expert......but your D5 seems to have 8 bottom rollers (and what appears to be an extended track frame) does this make it a XL or XW model?
Richard it is an LGP model with PAT blade. The XW was only a D6R variation it was long carriage and wide gauge but not so long and wide as the LGP mobel.
We have a D6MXL which is the newer model of the D5H but not an LGP just extra long.
Gordon.
Gordon, looks a nice level field for some scrapers to get
stuck into๐ good to see your keeping busy. RB
Hi Roly, Hope you are well and the Harvest went well.
Couldn't agree withyou more. We were going to hire an 8 and box from Chris Lee earlier this year to strip under some HV lines but we got paid to push out with just a blade.
The chap operating the 360 is an ex scraper operator he and i are often disscusing the benifits of using scrapers. Graham used to work for Frenchs and Aj Andrews. Our problem is the councils and soil compaction issues. Irony is that this particular field will become a lake and so soil will only be used for landscaping. Stark contrast when you think the family has had to buy a 250 grand Combine on tracks to tread delicately across the fields.
Regards Gordon.
