Ernie moved under his own power for the first time in 30 years. All the clutches worked but the brakes needed adjustment. I have got about an hour of run time on the quickie JB weld repair of several head cracks and so far so good. We have had a rash of thieves sawing out radiator cores so Ernie was finally brought inside. Gary

Gary,

Where did you sit when you drove it into the shop???

I am just finishing up the hand crank on my fifteen. Then I will put the radiator back on mine.

John,

It is what I call a farm shop fix. If you look closely at where the seat should be, there are 2 c-clamps holding a 4x8x12 inch block of wood. That was my seatback. I would not want to ride like that for very long. G

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
