I was wondering who might be attending Santa Margarita, aka "The Best of the West" show this weekend? It should be a lot of fun(as always).

The featured brand is International Harvester this year, but I am sure attendees will get to see plenty of Holt, Best, Caterpillar as well as other brands as always.

Weather should be nice. My taste buds tell me to search for some of those tri tip sammiches again!

I hope to be there. I am cutting into my supply of $3.88 diesel fuel!

What is everyone bringing? I THINK Skinner has his Peterbilt loaded up and ready with his cool restorations. Who else and what else? Hope to see many of you. JM

Hi, juiceman.

I'm 2.5 thousand miles closer than Busso20 and still can't make the jump. Try to have enough fun for all of us who can't be there.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

We will be there for sure. I was really hoping to bring the TEN and pull grader this year but several time sucking events changed those plans. My dozer buried to the fenders next to the neighbors pond was a big one. You would be surprised all the tiny places I found mud. Then the brush fire was the final time killer. My dozer was put into service naked, no guards or tin. It did the job along with a neighbors D5 and a toaster looking dozer from CalFire. Burnt the neighbors barn down so I guess we are even for my dozer being sunk at the pond. My new target is the Paso Robles Pioneer Days Parade. All said..... If you are thinking about going to Santa Margarita, please do. It is a great time, family friendly and all around great place to be. This has been an unpaid message supporting The Best of The West event and I personally approve this message.

See everyone there. Some folks have been camped out since Tuesday, just kicking back and relaxing.

Let's all go and enjoy ourselves.
