Hi, Folks.

This will be the first of these that I have not attended - and have not helped put together. Try to have enough fun for me too.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

You will be missed Deas. Some of us will be handing  our $ to Ray54 to get our mitts on some of those delightful Tri tip sammiches. Juiceman can be found grazing by the SLO Farm Bureau food stand hahaha. OH WAIT, we came for the tractors and other fun as well!
I got word that folks are scrambling to get the show ready; seriously, the first contact I got was from the BBQ caterers, wanting to know how many of us were eating on Saturday.
Austin S. is one of our point people for this year, and said things are coming together quite well with all of the volunteers from Paso Robles and the surrounding area.
It should be fun for everyone that attends. Thank you for putting this out for a reminder for some that might need a hint for the Memorial weekend. JM

The SLO Farm Bureau pit is being delivered today, maybe as I am typing. I am not sure if I will make it or not. My wife is having mobility issues, and I hesitate to leave her alone for too long at a time. As well as my own old creaky joints that are about warn out, somedays walking is not good. She has an appointment with the surgeon in a few weeks, so with good results hopefully next year for sure.

Deas i’m sure they’re missing you right now as they try to get it all together, for I know you did a lot behind the scenes in past years.
I have my truck loaded and pointed in the right direction. Heading out in the morning. Skinner

Thank you for the shout-out, Juiceman! SLO Farm Bureau definitely is preparing for the high demand, and Ray54's son just delivered the pit. I was there to witness it.

Bring extra Lipitor this weekend.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
