Went on a parts run this afternoon with my dad that led us into the rougher parts of Stockton. I knew Ben Holt’s house wasn’t very far away from where I was passing through and for fun I tried to find it purely from memory. I actually drove right past it and my dad pointed and said “I that that’s it”. I wasn’t sure he was right until I finally spotted the California historical landmark placard which, of course, had been graffiti’d on…..luckily I didn’t have to dodge any bullets to get the picture…..
NickyNutz: It is good to know that you and your dad spend quality time together roaming downtown Stockton LOL. I am sure he could tell you about the good old days (and nights) cruising around Wilson Way!
What I say Stockton, CA is best noted for by the truckers, is that the town is ground zero for low bed trailer manufacturers. Cozad, Siebert, Murray and Rackley are all here. JM
